  A wonderful place! I felt welcomed and greeted right away. The music is amazing and everyone is generally helpful and welcoming. Good kids programs too!

  GREAT venue for Proms, Parties, Meetings and Art exhibits..... even a wedding reception would do nicely with the SUPERB customer care. Don't let the church part scare you off... it does NOT look like a church outside or inside. Facility looks and feels like a very nice and clean medium sized venue you would find in a larger city. Manager Tim L is a ROCKSTAR in getting things done and keeping all happy with their event.

  In response to the review left by Prisma, I would say that could happen in any church and that one individual doesn't represent the entirety of what the church is. In every great church, there are imperfect people, sometimes crazy's, sometimes judgmental and sometimes negative individuals who just want to be negative. In fact, speaking of negative, I have checked out your other reviews of other businesses and they are all negative 1 star reviews. Makes one wonder what your true intentions are.

  My experience at The Stirring was NOT what I expected at all. The website says, "Come as you are, dress casual, leave your suit and tie at home!" However, while innocently introducing myself to people during the service, an older woman who didn't introduce herself to me or my fiance came up to me and abruptly asked me if I was a new believer. When I replied, "No, I've been a Christian my entire life..." she said, "Oh really? Well your shirt is very revealing and may be tempting for men." After about 10 more very uncomfortable minutes, we decided to leave. We were so angered that someone who knew that this was our first time there would say this to us--not introducing herself at all, and say something totally judgemental and opinionated. We couldn't stay feeling that angry and put down in a church. We tried letting it go, but her behavior was so rude and without tact that even in a church we couldn't shake the feeling of ickiness. First impressions are everything, and we won't be attending The Stirring again. We will also tell others about our experience. Making disciples is about a lot more than image and trendiness. If The Stirring wants to "Love and Make Disciples" maybe it won't chase people off like this. That's not what Jesus would do!
